I am an Assistant Professor at the Koita Centre for Digital Health at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. My research group develops novel computational methods to understand how genes are regulated and how variations in the regulation machinery impacts the state of individual cells in diseases. Lab website is coming soon! If you are interested in any of these areas please do not hesitate to reach out!
Before this, I was a Postdoc in the Satija lab at the New York Genome Center where I worked on developing statistical models for normalization of single-cell RNA-seq data.
I finished my PhD in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics and Masters in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Southern California in 2020. Before that, I trained as a Chemical Engineer from IIT Bombay.
